Olikai (olikai.in) is run by Rabtek Global Solutions Private Limited (“we”). Olikai watches small business websites, explains problems in plain words and helps fix them. This page says what we collect, why, who helps us, and what you can ask us to do. If anything is unclear, write to hello@olikai.in.
What we collect
- Your account: your name and email. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email and profile picture with us. We do not get your Google password.
- Your website: its address, plus the name, business type and city you add in Settings.
- Checks of your website: speed and Google results, whether it is online, when its padlock and domain end, and broken links. We only look at pages anyone can see.
- Alert settings: your choices, and your mobile number if you turn on WhatsApp or text alerts.
- Questions to Ask Olikai: what you ask and the answer, and whether you found it helpful.
- Payments: your plan and its status. Card, UPI and bank details go straight to Razorpay. We never see or store them.
- Log-in safety: when codes are sent and tried, and the internet address (IP) used, to stop people guessing codes.
Visitors to your website
If you add the Olikai visitor code to your site, it counts visits for you without cookies. For each page view we keep:
- the page address, where the visitor came from (like Google or Instagram), and phone, tablet or computer,
- the city and country, worked out from the internet address,
- a visitor code that changes every day. We do not store the visitor’s internet address, name or any way to follow them across sites.
You are responsible for telling your own visitors that you use Olikai, for example in your site’s privacy page.
Why we use it
- to check your website and show you reports, fixes and alerts,
- to send you log-in codes, alerts and the monthly report you chose,
- to make the fixes you start, and to undo them if you ask,
- to keep accounts safe and to improve Olikai.
We do not sell your data and we do not show you ads.
Who helps us
These companies process data for us, only to run Olikai:
- Supabase: our database and log-ins (stored in Mumbai, India).
- Vercel: runs the Olikai app (Mumbai, India).
- Google: sign in with Google, and PageSpeed Insights, which checks your website address.
- Resend: sends our emails.
- Anthropic: answers Ask Olikai questions. It gets your question and your website’s numbers, not your password or payment details.
- Razorpay: takes payments.
- Meta (WhatsApp) and Twilio (text messages): only if you turn these alerts on.
If you connect WordPress
The Olikai plugin lets us make only the fixes you start: smaller photos, your page title and description, and the setting that lets Google find your site. Your original photos are kept on your own site so you can undo. You can remove the plugin any time.
Cookies
We only use cookies that Olikai needs to work: to keep you logged in, and to remember the website you are checking, an invite, or the site you picked. No ad cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you remove a website, we delete its reports, alerts and visits (unless a teammate still watches it). You can delete your whole account any time in Settings, under Account. It is deleted straight away, except what the law asks us to keep, like payment records. You can also write to hello@olikai.in and we will delete it within 30 days.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what data we have about you,
- correct or complete it,
- delete it,
- name someone to act for you.
Write to hello@olikai.in. We reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Olikai is for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a big way, we will email you before it starts.
